A Disney Pirate Night for Me! 🏴‍☠️

Hello there!

Hope everyone is doing well 😎 I know I've been!

On May 13th, 2023 prior to Mother's Day, I had the blessing to go on vacations on a Disney Cruise for the very first time 😍 One of the unique and distinctive activities on board is the famous Pirate Night 🦜

What can you expect?

Be ready, everyone takes this Pirate Night seriously. All the crew and cast members are dressed according to the occasion from approximately 3 pm. Characters are dressed as Pirates as well, it is so cute (images below). 🤩 Even the restaurants will have a special Menu inspired on Pirates of the Caribbean ☠ Best Menu that we had from all 7 nights if you ask me. We even danced the limbo with the servers after dessert!

After you see the show at the Theater and have dinner at the restaurant, you then move to the Pool Deck for the Pirate Night Party (On the Disney Magic is located on Deck 9). The Pool area is transformed into a Dance Floor. Where a stage with a screen is located for the Show. The Dance Floor has a Kiddie's area for them to see the show and dance. 💃

Show starts at 9:45 pm with part of the crew members dancing and hosting the show with pretty good music. At 10:00 pm Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto appear and officially start the show dancing. Captain Hook and his counterparts appear as well, and of course Mickey Mouse makes quite an entrance! At 10:20 pm approximately....🎆Fireworks are expected in the middle of the sea, which is the highlight of the night! Tip: We watched the show with an uninterrupted view from Deck 10.

What to wear?

Did I already say that they take this night seriously? 😅 Well, if you have been following me this time you will understand my excitement of having a Costume Party at Sea (not in October) with lots of professional photographers in every corner and lots of themed backgrounds and characters. During the booking info you will find that they recommend that you dress accordingly with Pirate themed attire.

Heads up, during Pirate Night day, when you return to your room after being on a tour or an island you can expect some signature Mickey Pirate bandanas for everyone in the room. It is the only item that you will have free on board. On the cruise shops and boutiques they sell Pirate costumes and props but mostly for kids, so if you want options and also save some money, I suggest that you bring your own from home.

Below I will share some links from Amazon where you can find options for Women, Men and Kids:

Hope you find this info useful 🤗

If you have the chance to go to a Disney Pirate Night, I know that you will love it for sure! 😎
